This is some preliminary material for a Doom translations project.  
Translating Doom is difficult because, done properly, it requires not
only the in-game text to be translated, but also the various graphics 
used on the menus, intermission screen etc.

textgen.tar.gz contains code to generate the text graphics for the
menus and intermission screen.

stbar.tar.gz contains graphics for generating the status bar graphics.
